Last week the club hosted the annual Cul Camp for the underage boys and girls. The week was a huge success with over 120 kids taking part, this was an increase of over 40 on last year. While the weather was far from ideal, the coaches ensured the participants were looked after and mentored throughout the day.
The highlight for many of the youngsters was the visit of Cillian O’Connor, who gave plenty of advice and tips to the next generation of Mayo sharpshooters. There was plenty of local faces among the coaches with Gareth O’Donnell, Paul Ward, Deidre Doherty, Sinead Halligan along with county minor Shairoze Akram from Ballaghdreen and headed up by Eugene Lavin.
Thank you to all involved and see you next year.
