It’s mid November but the action continues unabated this weekend. Two of the clubs greats are in All Ireland action on Saturday at 3:15pm. Aiden Higgins and David “Ginger” Tiernan line out with the Mayo Masters against Cavan in Kilkerrin-Clonberne, Co Galway. It’s 21 years since Ginger played in an All Ireland as an U21 against Kerry and 10 years since Aiden played in the 2006 senior final also against Kerry. With David fast approaching 50 and Aiden defying the aging process, these lads are a genuine credit to the Town..

Sunday sees the U21’s in quaretr final action against Naomh Padraig. The game throws in at 11:45am in the park and if last weeks game is anything to go by, it should be a cracker.

Finally, the U15 lads are in the League Final in Knockmore at 12:15pm against Belmullet. This group of players have had a wonderful season and finishing off the season with a league victory would be truly fitting.
