Our Under 8 boys/girls played Kilmovee this morning in moist summer conditions in Kilmovee. The squad was divided into two teams and played simultaneous games against the Kilmovee U8s. Both Charlestown teams gave a good account of themselves and but for a few refereeing decisions may have taken the spoils.

As it turned out both teams drew their respective games against strong Kilmovee opposition.

The conditions did not help but both clubs players turned in an accomplished and committed performance. Great support as always from the parents of both sets of players made an enjoyable game despite the weather.
