Our minor ladies made it a second home win in their 2015 league campaign beating Mchale Rovers on a scoreline of 5.13 to 2.3. The girls played against a strong wind  in the first half and kept the visitors at bay with the sides level at half time 2.3 to 2.3 early goals got by kellee creane and Leanne Duffy.

With the wind in the second half Mchale rovers were no match for the girls as they denied them a single score. Ailbhe O Connor pulled off 2 massive saves and solid kick outs all evening reaching a charlestown player.

They let the ball do the work and with some great passes into the forwards the back of the net was found a number of times by Claire Flatley and Laura Duffy, a excellent run by Jennifer O Donnell  from the half back line allowed her to hammer one home. Not counting the number of shots denied by the crossbar

This group of girls have geld together fantastically with them joining together from different age groups u14 up to minor. They are in action again Saturday taking on Knockmore away @6.30.
