Charlestown Sarsfields very own Tom Parsons is up for a coveted All Star award tonight. Tom received a well earned nomination after a storming year in the middle of the park for Mayo.  He will be up against the likes of Brian Fenton (Dublin) and Colm Kavanagh (Tyrone) to name a few and it’s a testament to the year Tom had to be included in the 6 midfield nominations in the first place. This is only our second clubman to have received a All Star nomination with the other being John Casey back in 1996.
