The annual Michael Byrnes memorial game was held in Fr O’Hara Park yesterday, St Stephens Day. The veterans team boasted a stellar lineout this year with the great Padraig “Podsie” Horkan returning to captain the side to a one point victory over an enthusiastic, but tactically naive youth outfit. The charity chosen by the Byrnes family this year was Enable Ireland and over €1000 was raised for this very worthy cause.

The club would like to thank the Byrnes family once again for their generosity in hosting this event as well as to all the players and supporters for attending.
