A busy afternoon this Sunday in Fr O’Hara Park with both our u21 men and our senior ladies in ‘do or die’ situations.
First up at 12pm, Claremorris is the opposition for our u21’s where nothing less than a comprehensive win will suffice for our lads, having gone down narrowly to Kiltimagh in round one of the competition. The lads dominated for much of that game and were very unlucky to fall short by 5 points, in a game they really could have won. Another big performance and anything is possible.
At 2pm, Our senior ladies take centre stage as they also have a crucial fixture v neighbours Swinford when their senior status is put on the line. A win ensures they live to fight another day at senior level, let’s hope they get their full compliment out and give it a right rattle! Lady luck has not shone on them in 2017, lets hope Sunday their fortunes change!
All support would be greatly appreciated on the day as the 2017 season nears a close for the club! #honthetown
