As Fr. O’Hara Park has now reopened we are preparing to return to training and games for our adult and underage teams. Please note below important requirements which must be completed before participants can return to train and play with the club.
Please find information and links relating to the Health Questionnaire & elearning module that all active participants have to fill out or have filled out on their behalf, before a return to activity.
The Health Questionnaire and elearning module which both MUST be undertaken, are two key parts of the return to play roadmap for Gaelic games. Parents/guardians of underage players must also complete and ensure their children understand the new protocols. You can access the elearning module here: http://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd
Each person participating in Gaelic Games must complete the Health Questionnaire prior to the first occasion that they return to their club. This is now available here: https://returntoplay.gaa.ie
All of the Covid-19 related supports and resources for clubs and counties are available via the Covid-19 resources link at www.gaa.ie
The club has appointed Sinead Halligan as our COVID Supervisor and her role will be to liaise with all the team mentors and to ensure we are in compliance with the return to play protocols.
The club will be implementing a number of new measures at Fr. O’Hara Park in line with public health guidance to protect the safety and well-being of all our participants.
As with any step in the return to normal there is a risk attached and all players, coaches and parents need to be aware of this. The club will make every possible effort to make the return to play as safe as possible, but ultimately the decision to participate will lie with the individual or parent and we ask all participants to adhere to the advice and guidelines published in the documents above to make the return to play as safe as possible for all.
