Charlestown Sarsfields GAA Club are delighted to confirm that the club has been allocated €200,000 under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP) for 2024. The funding has been granted for the installation of state-of-the-art floodlights at the new Colm Horkan Memorial Pitch and Community Walkways. This is brilliant news for our club and will provide for an amazing year-round facility for our underage and senior players to enjoy for years to come.

The club would like to express our sincere thanks to the members of the Colm Horkan Memorial Pitch Committee for their work in securing this funding and to An Taoiseach Simon Harris TD and the Government and in particular our local elected representatives, Alan Dillon, Dara Calleary, Lisa Chambers and Cllr Gerry Murray for their continued support for this project – another great day for our club and community.
